Design & Amenities
Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, the main entrances on 14th and L Streets lead into a central lobby, constructed with a barrel arch ceiling and floors designed with contrasting marble. One of the most striking qualities of the lobby is the glass-paneled two-story atrium and the Italian marble fountain on the concourse. The lobby has two elevator banks of five elevators each, four passenger and one freight serving the East and West towers. Three hydraulic elevators provide access from the parking garage to the main lobby and concourse of Franklin Court. The West tower elevator allows access to the landscaped rooftop terrace, which includes views of the Washington Monument and Franklin Square. The terrace is furnished with landscaping, furniture, and WiFi for the tenants’ use. Franklin Court is a sustainable office space.
On-Site Self-Parking Garage
The underground parking garage has four levels containing roughly 425 parking spaces, providing an approximate parking ratio of one space per 1,000 sf of net rentable area. Garage renovations were completed in 2011, which included new lighting, paint, and signage. The building also includes a loading dock with five bays for security, deliveries, and contractor access.
On-Site Management Team
Franklin Court has an on-site management team with a property management office located in the main lobby. A security guard is present in the lobby on a 24-hour basis.
